Ok, don’t get me wrong, I love a good gallery wall. However, I’ve noticed a shift in the way I’m seeing art styled, as well as what I’m gravitating towards in my own designs. Less is more = the mantra. Having one or two (or 3) pieces, used correctly, can elevate any room + deliver a big impact. I highlighted my favorite 3 ways below so you can get inspired to think outside the box + provide some inspiration for your Spring refreshes that are just around the corner.
1. Large Scale Art
Pack a punch with one large, stellar piece of art + a complimenting frame to transform your space.

2. Simplistically Small / Off-center
Using a small, off-center piece of art almost has the same effect of a whisper over a yell. I think it’s a fresh, modern take on displaying art + keeping things simple. I also think that it ties the whole space together, by not overpowering, and letting all of the individual pieces come together as a whole.

3. Propped
The perfect way to add dimension for the ultimate #shelfie. Leaning your art is also an extremely versatile way to display your pieces + have the flexibility to mix it up when you’re in the mood for something new.
