March 31, 2017

Inspiring shops + the incredible ladies who created them

As Women’s History Month wraps up, I thought that I would share some of my favorite lady owned shops + products, that inspire me all 356 days of the year.  We are so lucky to live in a time where women entrepreneurs are on the rise + it’s amazing to see how many beautiful creatives are out there.  March may be over, but let’s keep supporting + appreciating each other all year long.

The Everyday Co.

What : Napkins, handkerchiefs, hand towels, pillowcases, + baby blankets

Where : Boston, MA

Why I love them : Amazing quality, environmentally friendly, + oh so pretty.  All of the napkins are reusable + sourced from already existing textiles.  You can also machine wash the everyday + dinner napkins which is perfect for everyday use.

The Woven Home

Who : Vanessa Lentine and Kelly Conrad

What : Rugs, Pillows, Wall Art, Decor + Textiles

Where : Southern California

Why I love them : The Woven Home is one of my biggest home decor crushes.  Indigo – check, texture – check, California vibes – check.  Created by two best friends, this shop offers one of a kind styles with vintage textiles + handmade home goods.  Their site is frequently updated with new pieces, but can go quickly, so keep an eye out for updates.

What : Abstract Art

Where : Boston, MA

Why I love them : If you love bright + colorful abstract paintings, look no further.  I love the use of color + textures, as well as the organic brushstrokes.  Any budget can be suited without compromising on style, by shopping original pieces on Moss + Blue’s site, or purchasing printed versions on their Etsy shop .

Who : Lauren Conrad + Hannah Skvarla

What : Home decor, accessories, bags, + more created by artisans around the world.

Where : Worldwide

Why I love them : It’s no secret that I love Lauren Conrad + the brand that she’s created for herself.  With the help from her friend from college, the two created a business that empowers + supports women artisans + their communities, around the world.  In addition to an amazing mission, the pieces created are absolutely gorgeous (have you seen these photos?!).
